"Children’s Vision First provides free eye exams and glasses to at-risk children throughout the Bay Area. In 2005 Dr. Charles Holt volunteered to help establish our program in Santa Clara County by donating free eye exams to as many children as we had to send him. As our program has grown, we have come to rely on the generosity of his office more and more - we’ve yet to be turned down for any request. To date, his child friendly office has provided free services to over 225 children referred to him by Children's Vision First. His service to this community reflects his exceptional commitment to vision care for children."

Just since 2007, 2 children who came to Dr. Charles Holt for a routine eye examination with typical complaints of blurry vision were determined to actually be suffering from tumors of the eye.
